O Que Achei da Viagem
Viagem fantástica que superou todas as minhas expectativas em relação a tudo: simpatia do povo, educação, cordialidade, limpeza das cidades . E acima de tudo a beleza deste imenso país.
O Que Mais Vale a Pena
Gostei muito de ter reservado um pacote de viagens com Wild Dog Safaris, através da Mojhi : adventure@mojhi.com Fiz um programa de 10 dias que foi ótimo: Mount Ttjo, Etosha, Twifelfontein , Sossusvlei, Swakopmund , lugares belíssimos e imperdíveis. Diversos safáris em Etosha onde vimos todos os "big five" , a excessão do búfalo que não existe na Namíbia. Uma profusão de animais maravilhosos soltos na natureza usufruindo os seus direitos sem a intervenção da mão do homem às vezes não tão amigável assim. Visitar a Duna 45 foi um verdadeiro espetáculo , caminhar naquele deserto de areia vermelha e fininha como farinha de uma delicadeza ímpar , foi maravilhoso! Visitamos o Dead Valey com um visual incrível,que ocorreu devido a falta de água, um processo milenar deu a coloração típica da região. Uma visita a Floresta petrificada com 280 milhões de anos, onde as árvores mantem sua coloração , distingue-se a casca , o caule e toda a estrutura de uma árvore embora ela esteja petrificada. Uma visita as tribos HIMBAS também é muito interessante , mantêm sua tradição e é possível visitar , assistir a algum ritual ou cerimônia, como por exemplo a cerimônia que as mulheres fazem para se perfumar através da fumaça . São muito gentis e não se incomodam em mostrar sua vida cotidiana. São muito vaidosas e usam seus cabelos como sedução onde tem todo um aparato para o embelezamento.São bígamos e os homens pode ter até 3 mulheres desde que tenham condições para mante-las. Swakopmud , uma verdadeira cidade alemã dentro da Namíbia, a beira mar. Visitamos uma colônia de lobos marinhos com cerca de 280 mil animais na costa do Esqueleto. Foi desta costa que Amyr Klink saiu ara sua aventura de 100 dias , atravessando o Oceano Atlântico, sozinho, remando . Não há como não lembrar dele ao fitar a imensidão do oceano !

Dicas Práticas
Repelente, protetor solar são fundamentais. Não vimos necessidade de tomar antimalárico. Importante a vacina contra Febre Amarela, exigem sempre o comprovante.
TRANSPORTE
Muita gente aluga carro,porém considero as distâncias muito grandes o que torna bastante cansativo.Lembrando que na Namíbia é mão inglesa. Roda-se em media 300 km por dia para se deslocar entre os pontos atrativos . Agendar um passeio com um guia é uma ótima opção. Há vários aeroportos pequenos em diferentes cidades o que também é uma boa escolha.
VISTO
Brasileiros não necessitam até a permanência de 90 dias. Èsó preencher um formulário na chegada.
ROUPAS
Roupas esportivas , confortáveis e práticas. È possível pegar grandes variações de temperatura ,que pode variar de 12 a 30 graus. Região desértica oscila muito. Frio pela manhã e a noite e muito calor durante o dia. Chapéu é importante, tênis confortável.
COMIDA
Comida maravilhosa! Come-se muito bem em todo o país! Para os carnívoros há muita variedade de carnes e assados. Os vegetarianos também são muito bem servidos.Os lodges são excelentes com uma qualidade excepcional !
Em Windhoek gostei muito de tres restaurantes que eu gostaria de mencionar aqui: O Portuga ; Joe”s Bierhaus e Stellenbosch Wine Bistrot

A partir de março é uma boa época , começam as chuvas e a chance ver animais é ótima!

Povo hospitaleiro e muito simpático. Muito sorridentes e solícitos.
VIDA NOTURNA
Na capital há possibilidades de bons restaurantes. O Stellenbosch é frequentado por muitos jovens e tem um astral bem alegre.
PASSEIOS RADICAIS
No deserto há muitas caminhadas que por si só já são radicais. Caminhar na areia sob o sol quente não é muito fácil.
INDO DO AEROPORTO PARA CIDADE
Não há transporte coletivo. E bom pegar um táxi autorizado.

Melhor fazer no aeroporto , na chegada.
